Gavin Johns has over three decades of experience in news, current affairs, documentaries, drama, sports and live broadcast and as a director of photography. In his earlier years, he worked for Reuters internationally covering historic events in South Africa and Cambodia.. He's worked on FIFA World Cup campaigns for the past 20 years, was a live camera operator for the World Surf League events in Australia ,Tahiti, Fiji and Hawai, and worked on award winning shows.

Since arriving in Europe, Gavin has continued his work in the sports arena. Live camera operation for the ATP tennis, ENG camera operating for World Cup Rugby and football, as well as the UEFA Euros championships, 2024 Olympics in Tahiti, and Paris, and the Winter Olympics recently held in the stunning mountains of Italy. Aside from the sports arena, Gavin has also been involved as a shooting/ producer for the television series FEI Ride for Sunset & Vine

He is a highly versatile and skilled cameraman and is proficient in most camera formats, and in all forms of camera operation broadcast today. His easy going manner and can-do attitude make him a great team-player and a real asset to any production.
